 MANAGEMENT VS ADMINISTRATION

WHAT ARE THE KEY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION? EXPLAIN EACH OF THEM IN DETAIL.

Management: Is the act of managing people and their work for achieving an organization’s goal its resources

Administration: Is an organized process of administering the management of an organization.

The differences are:

·         Management is exacting the discharge of policies

·         Administration is exacting the assurance of primary policies and objectives

·         Management is a low and mind-ranked function, it works for the low, medium and top levels organizational needs of an enterprise.

·         Administration is a high-ranked function, it entirely manages the overall management activities and demands of a company with proper planning and organizational resources

·         Decisions of the management are controlled by the goals and policies

·         Administrative decisions are controlled by a common belief and other forces.

·         Management mainly has control over business concerns

·         Administration has control over the government or national sectors

·         The management focuses to implement new ideas through research and innovative resources, to achieve the organization’s target.

·         the administration of an organization aims to fulfil all requirements, to secure the highest objectivity for their business.

WHICH IS BETTER, MANAGEMENT OR ADMINISTRATION? EXPLAIN.

Neither one is better, because they both need each other, these two are complementary to each other. If we don't have a good management obviously, we won't have a good administration and vice versa. But I think administration has more workload than management because it’s in charge about national and government sectors.

  1. Hi, we have very similar answers except by the last one, I totally agree with the fact that management and administration need each other to exist but personally I think management is a little bit better because its has a closer relationship with workers at different levels, meanwhile administration is more focused on task and goals.
